Kerala. She has been singing since 1989 with many music directors. She has rendered songs in
Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Urdu, Badaga.
Swarnalatha was won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback
Singer.
Swarnalatha died on Sunday at a private hospital in
Chennai due to illness. She was admitted to the hospital for lung infections. The body is kept at Malar hospital and would be taken home very soon.
